Restored Hamlet and Boutique Hotel in Mugello

An abandoned rural settlement, restored building by building, now taking guests. In the Mugello Valley, less than an hour north of Florence, a hamlet put back together from an old rural settlement and running today as a hospitality business. It is not one house but several buildings, each holding independent guest units, living rooms with their own kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms, so a party can take a unit and keep to itself. Fourteen bedrooms and seventeen bathrooms across the complex. The restoration kept the traditional Tuscan building, stone, render and terracotta, and put unremarkable comfort inside it. The wellness area has a jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath and a relaxation room, and there is a swimming pool in the grounds.
